Ha un’unità CPU aggiuntiva che consente ai clienti di eseguire il sistema operativo completo di RouterOS su questo dispositivo.
L’unità CPU offre un potere di elaborazione limitato, ma è sufficiente per eseguire alcune caratteristiche molto necessarie di RouterOS che gli switch intelligenti comuni semplicemente non hanno.
Ha funzione “Dual boot” che consente di scegliere quale sistema operativo preferito utilizzare, RouterOS o SwOS.
Se preferisci avere un solo switch semplificato con più funzionalità specifiche per lo switching , utilizza SwOS.
Se sei abituato a Winbox e desideri avere la possibilità di utilizzare routing e altre funzioni Layer 3 in alcune porte del tuo CRS, avviare e utilizzare RouterOS, è possibile selezionare il sistema operativo desiderato da RouterOS, da SwOS o dalle impostazioni del loader RouterBOOT.

CRS326 offre tutte le funzionalità di base per uno switch gestito e molto altro: consente di gestire l’inoltro da porta a porta, applicare il filtro MAC, configurare le VLAN, il traffico speculare, applicare la limitazione della larghezza di banda e regolare anche alcuni campi di intestazione MAC e IP. Lo slot SFP supporta sia SFP 1.25 Gb che moduli SFP + 10 Gb.
